UPDATE (00:19AM CDT August 26th): We have fixed a residual problem that left a handful of customers unable to log into Slice Manager. All customers should be able to manage slices now. Hope into Support Chat at http://chat.slicehost.com/ if you experience any difficulties.

We are receiving reports of packet loss from some Road Runner (Time Warner Cable) customers to Slices in STL-A and STL-B.
We are investigating the issue.
Update: 1:00 am - packet loss seems to have subsided, we'll continue monitoring.

UPDATE (11:00PM CDT): The Maintenance is Now Complete.
Slicehost engineers will be performing software updates to our infrastructure on Wednesday July 21st, 2010 from 10:00PM CDT to 11:00PM CDT (03:00-04:00 UTC - July 22nd). During this maintenance window, access to the SliceManager as well as the API will be unavailable. All existing slices will remain fully functional and online.

UPDATE (8:16 pm CDT): The connectivity issues appear to be resolved at this time.
We are currently investigating some connectivity issues affecting a small portion of DFW1.
We will post here as soon as we have more information.

UPDATE (01:30AM CDT / 06:30AM UTC) - The scheduled maintenance is now complete. While the maintenance did run a little longer than we had anticipated, there appears to have been no customer impact.
UPDATE (01:05AM CDT / 06:05AM UTC) - The scheduled maintenance is still in progress - while we have run a little over the hour window we set aside for this, we do not expect any impact as a result.
On Thursday, June 24th, from 05:00 UTC to 06:00 UTC (June 24th, 12:00AM -1:00AM CDT), our network engineers will be performing a maintenance in our STL-B data center. The impact is expected to be minimal during the maintenance, but you may experience a brief period of intermittent connectivity to any slices located in this facility as the connection is reset.

UPDATE (June 12th, 12:24AM) - The scheduled network maintenance is now complete. There was no customer impact during this maintenance.
On Saturday, June 12th, from 05:00 UTC to 06:00 UTC (June 12th, 12:00AM -1:00AM CDT), our STL-A data center will be performing a network maintenance in order to add an additional provider to their facility. During the maintenance, we do not expect any impact to your slices.

@06:08 UTC Slow network connections and timeouts experienced sporadically during the last 40 minutes due to two DOS attacks have been resolved. All slices should now be responsive. If you experience continuing issues, please contact us in Support Chat or by Slice Manager support request.

UPDATE: Slicemanager issues have been resolved. Please let us know should you run into any issues.
UPDATE: We have corrected this issue for most of our customers. A small portion will still see problems. We are continuing to work to fix them as well.
Currently, you may be seeing error messages when trying to access your slices through the Slicemanager. We are working on this currently. Your slices themselves are not affected.

@12:16am CDT - The Maintenance is complete and without incident.
The scheduled Slice Manager Maintenance for the DFW data center is now underway. We'll update this post once it is completed.
During the maintenance no actual downtime is expected, however DFW Slices may not appear in the Slice Manager, and may not be accesible via the API. This will mean that certain Slice operations like backup and reboot may not be unavailable during the maintenance window.
Once the maintenance is completed, everything will return back to normal.

@11:04 pm CST - The networking issues have been resolved. We determined the root cause to be DOS attack related. Once the attacks were blocked, it took a bit of time for the effects to clear up.
@10:35 pm CST - The problem seems to be intermittent and only affecting certain places on the net. Right now it looks to be fixed, but has swung back and forth a few times already. We are continuing to attempt to track down the cause.
We are investigating reports of network issues in STL-B.
